Jason is a 30-year, now retired paramedic residing in Saskatchewan. Cumulative workplace experiences and one significant target incident caused an occupational stress injury with subsequent diagnoses and successful recovery.
In His Own Words
Hello, I am Jason and am in recovery following an occupational stress injury leading to several clinical diagnoses. I still engage in treatment; however, treatment today is far less intense than previous years. As a peer with lived experience, I can offer validation of your experience as a peer who “get’s it”. I have been put through the wringer and know how to navigate the health system, community resources, insurance policies, and government programs. I can help you as you move past your unique lived experience.
